Our background involves voluntary service user contact with more than a decade of experience conducting patient and healthcare professional research projects, on behalf of patient groups, professional bodies and the NHS.
SERVICE
AKGILBERT specialises in capturing real life patient and clinician opinion that underpins healthcare campaigns, funding applications and advocacy plans. We have extensive knowledge of impact analysis and patient experience measurement as well as an ethical and methodical approach to managing research projects.
DATA OWNERSHIP AND PRIVACY
We start with defining the research aims, and whilst working closely with the organisation, we manage the project from inception through to completion.
All data collected are wholly and completely owned by the healthcare organisation. We are committed to preserving privacy and maintaining confidentiality of any information that we generate. Adhering to the Data Protection Act 1998 and all other relevant laws with regard to research is of utmost importance to us. A confidentiality agreement enables us to work freely with the organisation and really become ‘part of the team’
